“Introduction to the specialty – getting the first working qualification”

During  2014 and 2015, the project “Introduction to the specialty – obtaining the first working specialty” was realized. Its main goal was to provide the first working profession to the rural youth and children from socially vulnerable sections of the population. AS a result of training 145 students, 75% of graduates were employed.

“Additional short-term courses”

This project was divided into periods. First period: on April 15-16, 2015, at the base of Higher Technical School APEC PetroTechnic, experts from more than 10 companies passed the introduction courses on instrumentation and automation. There were representatives of “Embamunaigas”, Atyrau Refinery, CTR, Zhaikmunai and others among them. Second period: in June of the same year, Atyrau Refinery staff learned at special courses on instrumentation and automation.  In addition, there was  a project of training 15 specialists of JSC “Kozhan” oil and gas business in China from November 21 to December 2, 2015. It was implemented with the “Chinese Petroleum University (Huadong)”.

«English language courses for TCO employees»

TCO employees were trained in English courses in two periods. The first period of successful course implementation was from January to May 2015. 88 TCO learners attended the training.
The second period of course was implemented from August to December 2015. More than 144 TCO learners attended the training.

 

Courses for training crane operators and riggers in cooperation with the company “Sarens”

In November 2017, a project for the training of crane operators and riggers was completed in cooperation with Sarens. In total, more than 180 learners attended the training courses which were conducted by instructors from the UK in English.

 

“Training of  the African continent oil and gas experts”

This project was implemented in cooperation with the UN Development Program in Kazakhstan within the framework of the project “Kazakhstan support in providing technical assistance to the countries of the African, Pacific and Caribbean regions by providing trainings for young specialists”.

The program included lectures and practical sessions, implemented by leading specialists, and visits to production facilities and reserves of such organizations as EmbaMunaiGas, Atyrau Refinery and KaspiyMunaiGaz in order to get acquainted with modern technologies of exploration, production, processing and transportation of oil and gas. Also, there was organized an extensive cultural program and sports events for participants of the seminar. As a result, 20 oil and gas experts from the African continent attended the training courses.

“English for students of AUOG”

This project was implemented in 2016. Qualified instructors conducted the training to 30 students.

“Welding School”

In October 2016, the project «Welding School» was implemented in cooperation with “BI Group-Engineering” LLP.  This project was realized for the implementation of the president N.N.Nazarbayev’s mandate about project “FREE ACCEPTANCE OF THE FIRST WORKING PROFESSION and maintenance of YOUTH EMPLOYMENT”. In total, 30 learners attended the training and awarded with certificates.
